C Duo Polisher Plus

This polisher is high in Vitamin C which is the holy grail of skin care. It consists of a powder and a liquid which have to be mixed together just before application. This is because L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is unstable and starts to oxidize once it is added to a liquid.

After gently polishing the skin, the mixture is left on the face for at least 20 minutes to double as a mask for maximum benefit.

The Liquid: Glycerin, a powerful humectant, is infused with Hibiscus, also known as the botox plant. Hibiscus contains natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids which gently exfoliates the skin, increases skin elasticity, fights skin damage by eliminating free radicals, moisturises and evens out your skin tone. Pomegranate Extract contains about 40% elagic acid which inhibits the formation of sun and age spots. It stimulates collagen production, treats hyperpigmentation and brightens the complexion. Palmarosa regenerates and rejuvenates the skin as it helps with the formation of new tissue, fights dry skin and combats skin infections. Rose Geranium benefits all skin types, controls excess sebum secretion, balances the skin naturally, treats congestion and sluggishness leaving skin supple and healthy. Both oils are fragrant and uplifting.

The Powder: This is a powerhouse of Vitamin C, ascorbic acid being the main ingredient. Topical Vitamin C stimulates collagen synthesis, protects skin against harmful exposure to sunlight and has antioxidant properties which neutralize free radical activity. L-Ascorbic acid is the only form of Vitamin C that the body can use, plus once it is in the skin, it cannot be washed, rubbed or perspired off.
